Who is responsible
PRAXIS BUNKER, S.L. (tax ID B42914226), C/ Can Ribera, 4, 07012 Palma (Illes Balears), España, is the controller of the data processed when you buy and use Klipp. You can reach us at direccion@cometalabs.io.
Your recordings
Klipp records, edits and exports on your computer. Your videos, audio, webcam and captions are never sent to our servers, except a video you choose to share with a link (explained below). Klipp logs mouse position, clicks and the timing of each keystroke to create zooms and speed up typing, but never which keys you press.
Purchase and billing
Payments are handled by Stripe (through Link) as merchant of record. Stripe processes your name, email, billing address and payment details to charge you, issue the invoice and apply taxes. We never see your card details.
License
To activate and check your license, Klipp sends the key, a random computer identifier and the computer's name to our license server, which checks with Stripe that your purchase is still active. We use this only to limit the license to 3 computers and let you free one up. After you buy, we email you the key (via Resend).
Videos shared with a link
Sharing a video with a link is optional: it only happens if you click “Share link” when exporting. That video, its title and its duration are stored on Cloudflare R2, on servers in the European Union, and anyone with the link can watch it; it's never published or indexed by search engines. We tie the video to your license with an encrypted code (we never store the key itself) to show you “My links” and enforce the limits. Each link expires after 90 days (you can extend it) and is then deleted; you can delete it sooner at any time from Klipp. When a link is opened, Cloudflare serves the video and processes the viewer's IP address only to deliver it.
Error reports
If Klipp crashes, it sends a technical report to Sentry (servers in the European Union) so we can fix it. Reports never include your recordings; we remove IP addresses and personal data from them.
Your rights
You can request access, rectification, erasure, objection or portability of your data by writing to direccion@cometalabs.io, and you can lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.
